Wines that use grapes that have been grown to organic or bio-dynamic principals, using sustainable farming practices and encouraging biodiversity within the vineyard. Then a hands-off approach in the cellar when it comes to the wine-making. Using, where possible, indigenous yeast for fermentation, minimal amounts of sulphur for stabilisation and either no or minimal fining and filtration.

The use of the word “natural” is highly subjective with some of our producers making wines that would adhere to these specifications whilst eschewing such labels; whilst others use these principles as a starting philosophy for wine making.
