Loire river runs 1006 kilometers from its source to the ocean. From the grapes to the glass, 1006 crafts natural wines in its urban winery in Angers, reflecting terroirs from Loire valley. Thanks to lasting partnerships with winegrowers working with respect for the living, according to the specifications of organic farming, 1006 interprets the terroirs of Loire valley by selecting and monitoring plots dedicated to its wines throughout the year.

100% Melon de Bourgogne. Single plot located in the heart of Muscadet. Soils of silts and quartz on micaschists base. Oceanic climate. About forty year old vines. Viticulture respectful of life, first year of organic conversion.
Manual harvest, slow pressing, spontaneous alcoholic and malolactic fermentations. Ageing on fine lies for 6 months.
Layers of flavour and complexity. It’s incredibly expressive with bright cirrus fruit balanced by floral notes and a gentle sea spray. Pleasant, lingering acidity complimented by a weighty palate with a touch of creaminess and bread dough.
This is just asking for a platter of seafood. It’ll pair with a range of seafoods including heavier creamier pastas and sauces.
