A truely unique wine from Argentina that’s not just a gimmick. This is a white wine made from red Pinot Noir grapes, often not seen from South America. Red grapes are processed as white grapes creating notes of fresh strawberry and citrus. White floral notes and gentle acidity with a good structure leading to a long, lingering finish. Minimal skin contact in stainless steel before fermentation in concrete with some malo-lactic fermentation occurring. Only 10% of the wine is aged for 4 months in French oak, adding complexity.
From a small winery in the Upper Rio Negro Valley, Aniello believe in crafting wines with character and present a new face for the region whilst remaining true to their italian roots. The region itself is much greener than Mendoza and sees both warm and cool weather. There is often a costal breeze which helps the freshness and intensity of the wines.
Drink with seafood, salads full of green vegetables and rich pastas.
