A delightfully fresh and fruity wine with plenty of tropical and citrus fruits, floral notes and a refreshing flintiness. Great as an aperitif or with an array of seafood. Give it a try if you love a Sauvignon Blanc.

They are from the iconic region of Dão in northern Portugal which is known for its magnificent mountains (Estrela, Caramulo and Bussaco) and the unique microclimate that is in symbiosis with its indigenous grape varieties. Cabriz excel in this beautiful area in making wines of unique character, fantastic value and excellent gastronomic potential.
Located between the Serra da Estrela and Caramulo and between Dão and Mondego River The quinta extends over 94 hectares. Cabriz is always innovating and have recently converted some special plots to be certified organic. Organic wines are always more of a challenge for Osvaldo and he loves the outcome.
A blend of three local varietals- 50% Encruzado, 25% Arinto, 25% Malvasia-Fina. Grapes are totally destemmed, then a soft pneumatic pressing, followed by natural static clarification and fermentation at 15°C.
Beautifully balanced, fruity, fresh, crisp and with distinct persistence. Tropical flavours first that are overtaken by a crunchy acidity to lift it up and make it shine along with flinty minerality, citrus fruit (lemons), floral notes with some mint and pine.
It’s ideal with BBQ fish, shellfish and prawns as well as Mediterranean and North African cuisine such as tagines and chickpea dishes. We also advise it as an aperitif or in leisure time with good company.
