An elegant unoaked Chardonnay with aromas of white peach, lemon and apple. The palate is fresh and light with citrus and pear flavourings leading to the long, pure finish.
All fruit is sourced from Burgundian cloned vines on the North Downs, Kent and is hand picked to preserve the delicate flavours.
Chapel Down is based in Small Hythe near Tenterden where you will find over 25 acres of vineyards set amongst some beautiful Kentish countryside.
The hand-picked grapes were wholebunch pressed in September and October and fermented at a cool temperature. Full malolactic fermentation followed as did extended maturation on lees prior to bottling.

Excellent when served as an aperitif or paired with oysters.
