A wonderful summer sparkler, beautiful and refreshing. Chapel Down’s love affair for the Bacchus grape varietal continues with their 7th expression of the grape. A great wine for any celebration.
Grapes from Kent, East Sussex and Essex
Chapel Down is based in Small Hythe near Tenterden where you will find over 25 acres of vineyards set amongst some beautiful Kentish countryside.
Grapes were handpicked and whole bunch pressed in September and October 2020. Cool fermentation in stainless steel with no malolactic fermentation helps to retain the freshness of this style.
On the nose, pineapple, grapefruit and elderflower. On the palate, tropical and floral, crisp and refreshing.
Great as an aperitif. Alternatively, pair with grilled poultry and a summer salad.
