Alain Brumont is regarded as one of the worlds finest wine makers and is mostly responsible for rescuing the southern region of Madiran post WW2. He now owns several estates in the area all of which practice organic and biodynamic farming.
Blend of tannat, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. 12 months in French oak. Drink now or age for up to 10 years.
YOUNG: Dense, spicy, rich and fruity. Blackberry, plum and blackcurrant. Intense, food loving wine.
Aged: Delicate, subtle and complex.
Pairing: rustic stews, red meats, duck and spicy dishes.
