The village of Chorey-les-Beaune is located 2 km northeast of Beaune heading towards Nuits Saint Georges. The Chorey-les Beaune appellation does not feature a Premier Cru. This white wine appellation applies to just a limited production: a total of 138 hectolitres.
Vinification:The handpicked grapes are entirely sorted and then pressed upon arriving at the winery. After decantation, the must begins its alcoholic fermentation process and is barrelled for the ten months of vinification.
Tasting : A greenish-gold colour predominates. The body and fullness of this wine are reflected in aromas tending towards white flowers and hazelnut.
A stunning Chardonnay showing good developement. A bright openening with racey acidity, soon leading on to hints of tropical fruit, minerallity and spicy French oak on the palate. Lingering toasty notes and a balanced warming feeling.
