From the Delair Graff Estate mountain vineyards, the 2017 vintage grapes benefitted from warm days and cooler than usual nights giving healthy, smaller but intesne grapes. Picked in the earlier hours, grapes were then whole bunch pressed and barrel fermented for 14 days. The wine spent 10 months in French oak, 40% of which was new. However, no malolatic fermentation happened allowing the wine to keep its freshness.
Elegant, layers of vanilla, peach and honeycomb all with a lingering, mineral finish.
