Delamotte Champagne House was created in 1760 in Reims thanks to François Delamotte, the founder, and it was his son Alexandre who bought some time later a house and cellars in Mesnil-sur-Oger, where Delamotte is still settled.
The brand and buildings were then bought in 1927 by Marie-Louise de Nonancourt, and his son Charles managed it from 1948 to 1988. Then the House was bought in 1988 by Laurent-Perrier and was managed by Bernard de Nonancourt until 2010, date when Alexandra and Stephanie de Nonancourt carried on the family tradition to write this House’s future.
A very subtle blend of chardonnay grapes exclusively coming from the vineyards of Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Avize, Cramant.
Many floral citrus aromas with hint of ginger while the palate reveals a biscuit and fresh bread crust final.
Grand Cru, Le Mesnil sur Oger.
