Larsen XO Cognac

When young Norwegian Jens Reidar Larsen had a vision to create his own style of cognac, his main motivation was that fruit would be at their core, which continues to inspire every step of the production process to this day. This has led to various innovations created by the house, including some approaches to cask-making that have never been seen before, and which preserve the original aromas of the fruit.

Today, Larsen Cognac remains just as inspired by its founder’s audacity and sense of adventure, and its cognacs offer a new and exciting way to explore this fascinating category.

This XO cognac is a blend of 60 different eaux de vies from the Fin Bois and Petite Champagne regions of cognac, that have been aged in oak barrels. The youngest spirits in the blend are 10 years old, while the oldest have been aged for as long as 30 years.

NOSE

Intense aromas of ripe fruits, prunes, nuts, toasted cocoa beans, liquorice and mocha.

PALATE

A soft, velvety texture.

FINISH

Long and aromatic.
