From the childish wine series of From Sunday’s winery comes the Milla Pinot Noir made a particularly rare clone of grapes, know for it’s vibrancy. Maned after one of the makers daughters it’s an incredibly bright wine. Fruit forward to showcase all the hard work put in to the vineyard, plenty of berries and cherries with a touch of warming spice. A fresh and juicy wine that can be chilled.
The grapes are a clone of a German pinot Noir and is on of the only known planting in Australia. Planted on clay, moisture rich soils on the edge of a ridge, the vines benefit from a cooling breeze at night helping them to ripen evenly. Organic, low intervention, indigenous yeast, open tank fermentation in stainless steel. Minimal softies and fining. Wine sees no oak keeping it fresh.
Winemaker James, viticulturist Sam and branding guru James Are responsible for some epic Aussie wines out of their winery From Sundays. These wines are organically farmed and minimal intervention using only the best fruit meaning they showcase some exciting stuff.
