Nibiru Juna Sparkling Grape Juice

Delicious non-alcoholic sparkling grape juice made from a blend of organic Gelber Muskateller and Frühroter Veltliner grapes. The grapes are pressed, the juice goes through a quick pasteurisation, then carbonated with the addition of some water to dilute its sweetness slightly for the perfect balance. This juice is unfiltered and has zero additives. perfect bubbles, great freshness, the ideal non-alcoholic beverage for wine lovers.

Made by Josef Schenter and Julia Nather of Nibiru Wines (the name ‘Juna’ comes from Julia’s first and surname).

Viticulture

The grapes come from vineyards behind the winery on terrasses. These are their highest vineyards at 400m, some of the highest in the region. The soils are quite poor in general, leading to smaller yields but fantastic quality. This was the first harvest of the season to maintain a good balance of sweetness and acidity.

Winemaking

The grapes were pressed and the juice went through a very quick pasteurisation. Afterwards it was diluted with water and carbonated. No additions aside from the bubbles (CO2).
