Old vine, oaked Sauvignon Blanc, from Pfalz, that steers away from being a purely fruit driven wine. Natural yeast and spontaneous fermentation in oak barrels to give a smokey intensity balanced by traditional gooseberry and tropical fruits. After extended stay on lees, the wine is bottled with no filteration or fining.
Complex, full-bodied with a lengthy mineral finish and notes of pink grapefruit.
Pair with rich, creamy dishes, risottos, pork, veal.
