Made exclusively by our supllier Boutinot who not only import wine but make a range of wine for their own labels. Wineaker Samantha Bailey is the head of the French side of the business and has made her mark as a great winemaker. Their offices are based in Burgundy but they use resources from al parts of the country to make a range of great wines.
Traditional Languedoc varieties are sourced for the Pasquiers range. For the rosé this means ripe, sweetly-fruited Grenache and tangy Cinsault. This is a classic rosé de presse.
70% Grenache 30% Cinsault steel fermented to preserve the fruit.
This luscious and textural blend is very much a food wine; tangy red berry flavours provided by Grenache meld with spice from Cinsault before the dry and fresh finish.
