The name Penley Estate comes from the amalgamation of two pioneering South Australian wine families, the Penfold’s and Tolley’s. And born of a dream of three siblings in 1988. Today the estate is owned by sisters Ang & Bec Tolley, and like their ancestors they are strong, resilient and determined women. Their history is a rich mix of endeavour, passion and vision with a touch of scandal and madness thrown in for good measure.

100% Chardonnay. The wine spends 8 months in French oak with some wild fermentation. 50% second use oak, 50% third use oak. The wine remained on lees throughout this time.
A wine thats very delicate and flavoursome on the palate with notes of white peach, fig and cashew nuts on the nose. Subtle savoury French oak underpins a core of juicy fruit, while the citrus acidity adds freshness and gives it a lift. A great Chardonnay that will complement food and conversation.
Vegan/veggie, sustainable, minimal sulphur added.
