Porters Gin

In 2012 three friends turned the basement of bar in Aberdeen, Scotland into one of the UK’s most innovative micro-distilleries. They built their own unique still, which distills botanicals at low temperatures, retaining their fresh, natural flavour. Think about the difference between cooked mint and fresh mint – the same applies to botanical distillation. While working closely with the UK’s most respected gin distillers, they perfected the art of cold distilling botanicals.

This respect for tradition while innovating results in exceptionally well balanced, refined, high quality gin recipes. 

All the botanicals are carefully selected and ethically sourced. Each playing an important role in creating a balanced flavour profile with nothing else, aside from water, being added to our gin after distillation. The botanicals are distilled with 100% British grain wheat spirit.

THe botanicals are: Juniper, angelica, almond, coriander, liquorice, lemon, orange, buddha’s hand, pink peppercorn, orris root, cassia bark and cinnamon. The resulting gin has a bold juniper body and unique citrus profile.
