Mencia, Garnacha Tintorera, Mouratón, Brancellao and Caíño
A single vineyard, with vines ageing around 60-90 years old. An old school field blend of mainly Mencia and Garnacha tintorera, about 70%. The remainder is Mouratón, Brancellao and Caíño. Production methods are the same as the Castro. Whole bunch fermentation in 1000 litre vats. Then malo and ageing in 400 litre barrels before bottling.
