The vineyards are situated in important villages which fall within the Sancerre appellation, they are Sancerre, Bué, Chadoux, Verdigny, Chavignole, Amigny and Maimbray. The vineyards are made up of a variety of different soils including clay, limestone and flint. Vines are between 25-35 years old.
Grapes are sorted and start vinification separately without being crushed. Gravity plays a big part in making the wine as no pumps are used during th process. Fermentation happens in stainless steel and the wine spend 3-6 months on its lees. Finally, the juices are blended.
Citrus, white peach and pear are all present on the nose with a hint of honey. The lively flavours are carried though to the palate and joined by exoctic fruits along with an almond nuttiness. A prolonged finish of ripe lemon and a classic stoney minerality,
