Serbal Cabernet Franc

This delightful Cabernet Franc was previously a blending component in the equally lovely Serbal Assemblage (blend). Such was its influence on that blend we suggested to Atamisque they go the whole hog and bottle this as a single varietal, and so the wine was born. Classic Cab Franc notes of fresh capsicum and pencil shavings on the nose, fresh and clean on the palate with delicious red berry fruits.

Cab Franc from Argentina has a great future, we believe, the only restriction being the very small number of hectares currently planted, but that is changing as producers see the potential. In the meantime, we reckon this is the best value example you will find in the country.
