Susana Balbo is regarded as one of the best wine makers of Argentina and certainly has the portfolio to show for it. Her wines have grown in to an impressive range and she has made herself known as a renowned talent worldwide. Susana was one of the very first women Argentinian winemakers and is an important role model for the industry. She has been both the President of Wines of Argentina and been awarded with The Drinks Business Women of the Year. A pioneer of innovation and a credit to the wine world.
The winery is incredibly family orientated with both her children working under the name, sharing the same principles. Susana’s daughter, Ana Lovaglio, heads up the marketing side of things as well as developing their superb onsite restaurant whilst José, her son, is an excellent wine maker in his own right and plays a prolific role in developing new wines and general management.
