Gorgeous pet nat… Amazing acidity, balance, and fruit character. Disgorged so it’s pretty clear, elegant, bubbles that hold. 

An estate going back various generations, now run by Tiago Sampaio. Having spent his mid twenties in Oregon doing a PhD in rootstocks and viticulture he came back to take over the estate in the late 2000s. From 2011/2012 onwards he shifted his focus towards organic/biodynamic viticulture and a much more natural approach in the cellar. The wines are wildly exciting – field blends of old vines, long skin contact experiments, refreshing pet nats, and much more.
