An estate going back various generations, now run by Tiago Sampaio. Having spent his mid twenties in Oregon doing a PhD in rootstocks and viticulture he came back to take over the estate in the late 2000s. From 2011/2012 onwards he shifted his focus towards organic/biodynamic viticulture and a much more natural approach in the cellar. The wines are wildly exciting – field blends of old vines, long skin contact experiments, refreshing pet nats, and much more.
