The Drinks Festival

StarmoreBoss

How it works

The Drinks Festival brings over 30 of our favourite producers, importers and distributors together under one roof. You will have the chance to talk to some of the leading experts in their field and taste some incredible brands. This is a tasting event so the pours will be small in order for you to try a range of different drinks. All the samples are included in the price of your ticket!

Venue

Hideaway, Eyre Lane, Sheffield

Location

The Hideaway is a brand new venue in Sheffield city centre. It is located on Eyre Lane (NOT STREET). Eyre Lane runs from the Hallam University past Tamper Coffee shop towards Bloc Studios and Decathlon Sports shop.

From the Moor Markets, travel down Earl street, cross Eyre Street with the Sheffield Fire Station to your right, and take the next left. Hideaway is on the corner of Newton Lane and Eyre Lane.

Virtual Festival Shop

We will be running a VIRTUAL SHOP – so there will be NO physical bottles to take home at the end of the event.

The festival shop will be running a  FESTIVAL only discount of 15% off all items being poured at the show. This will be our BIGGEST EVER DISCOUNT across a huge number of items.

These prices are only available on the day and only available for attendees of the show.

Place and pay for your order at the virtual store. We will then collate your order, email you a notification of when it’s ready and it can be collected from either our Sharrow Vale rd shop or our Fulwood Road shop. Or if your order is over £150 we’ll deliver it to you! The majority of the orders will be ready the week following the show but if our suppliers get excited and sneak in some super new releases it might take a little longer to get these new stock items in.

FAST TRACK your order by using your show guide/price list to make a note of the items and quantities of the items you like. Hand this in to the festival shop and we can take your order.

Planning your show

Once you’ve booked your tickets, look out for further emails with a list of exhibitors and a list of the samples that will be on pouring.

The Drinks Festival

Show Etiquette and Rules

StarmoreBoss and Hideaway strongly promote responsible drinking. By attending the show you are agreeing to abide by these common-sense procedures.

Entry is for 18 and over. If you look under 21 you will be asked for ID so please bring some. Failure to show age identifying ID when asked means we will not refund your ticket if you are not allowed in.

Drink better, drink less.

There is only one session so its not a race, pace yourself so you can enjoy the show.

There are plenty of spaces to rest and relax in the venue.

There is a courtyard that will serve as a quiet space if you need some fresh air.

Also you have a wristband so you can come and go as you please. If you need to take some time out of the venue then please do so. There is a pocket park located at Matilda Street a 3 minute walk away.

Booking onto a masterclasses is a great way of changing your environment and slowing down your consumption.

We encourage you to have a meal before you come to the show and to use your meal ticket that is included with your ticket. Canapes will be served throughout the day.

Drink water and stay hydrated.

Samples are to be poured by the exhibitors into the glass you receive on entry and no other vessel. We have a duty of care to our attendees and exhibitors will refuse to pour samples to anyone displaying signs of drunkenness.

Security staff are on hand as are the teams from Hideaway and StarmoreBoss. If you have any issues speak directly with one of us.

Should anyone be inebriated, become disruptive, or display offensive or anti-social behaviour towards other guests, exhibitors or staff they will be asked to leave, wristband removed and will not be readmitted.
